Where is help found? I lift up my eyes to the mountains–where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2) Monday, Fifth Week of Easter Almighty God, who keeps all of your promises and lets not one of them slip, consider us in our time of need, answer us when we call, help us when dark is our road and bring us your light and your aid. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen Dear friends, Psalm 121 is a great word of comfort and encouragement in times like these. I invite you to take some time to let these words soak into your soul, let them percolate into your mind and heart, and then lift up your eyes. I lift up my eyes to the mountains–where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip–he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you–the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm–he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Amen!
