Devoting Oneself to Prayer All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer. (Acts 1:14) Wednesday, Seventh Week of Easter Lord, I pray not for tranquility, nor that my tribulations may cease; I pray for your Spirit and your love, that you grant me strength and grace to overcome adversity; through Jesus Christ, Amen Dear friends, There are many things that we may be devoted to in life. Family. Career. Happiness. Security. Etc. There is only one that truly matters. That’s our relationship with God. He is the One for whom we are created. He alone is the one in Whom we find fulfillment, satisfaction, and every good. Consider taking time today and this week to devote yourself to communicating with God. Pray to him. Praise him. Give thanks to him for all you are going through, the good and the bad. Trust him. He is there for you. He proved this by sending his Son to deliver you from everything that prevents us from being with Him. Forever. In Christ, Pastor Langdon Reinke P.S. Hope you and your family are healthy and safe. We are in this together. We have help available if there are needs. Please let us know. |
